 Relax in the gardens surrounding North Queensland's oldest heritage listed building (circa 1865, former Eureka Hotel) now Heritage Tea Rooms, offering all day breakfast, prize winning scones, cakes, slices and light linches. We also welcome groups / clubs / tour companies. We are open 9am - 4pm every day of the year excluding Christmas Day. Bookings are essential on Sundays and Public Holidays. Fully licensed.

The perfect getaway 30 minutes from Townsville located at the top of Hervey's Range, the former Eureka Hotel, built in 1865, has been restored and opened to the public as Hervey's Range Heritage Tea Rooms. It remains one of the few slab sided inns left standing in Australia.
Once a welcome sight to weary travelers and their horse and bullock teams en route to the gold fields, it stands on the original site and has been lovingly restored to its former glory, offering everyone the opportunity to not only experience the oldest building in North Queensland, but the peace and tranquility of the country, great food, coffee and a very warm welcome.
